Onondaga Nation and Allies Prepare for Historic Trek Down the Hudson
After a great deal of work by the Enactment Planning Committee, things are coming together nicely for our four day trial run down the Hudson! The full itinerary is below, followed by the news release. This coming weekend the Two Row Campaign will have a booth at Ganondagan’s 21st annual Native American Dance and Music Festival and NOON will have a table at the Stage of Nations Bluerain Ecofest. Come check out our booth at either event… and we could still use help staffing at Ganondagan if you’re available. Let me know.
For the trial run, there are various ways you can support it:
-We’re looking for help from skilled photographers or videographers to document the trek (especially the first two days when we’ll have a sailboat with us).
-We’d like to have the trip spread like wildfire on social media. Like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter and repost and tweet about the trip.
-Join us along the route with signs to welcome us and/or meet up with us when we’re departing or arriving at a site.
-Share the news release below with media in the Hudson Valley.
-Support the project financially so we can continue and expand our efforts.
