  • Develop and update the budget for the project
  • Raise money to support the campaign through grantwriting, seeking support from individuals and co-sponsors
  • Oversee finances for the project

  • Reach out to build support for the project
  • Seek out and works with individuals to help them get involved
  • Seek organizational co-sponsorship to support the campaign
  • Maintain contact with supporters and potential supporters
  • Works with active committees in Capital District, Hudson Valley, Ithaca and New York City

Publicity / Media

  • Develop and update the website
  • Work to achieve mainstream media coverage of the campaign and related events
  • Develop and expand our social media campaign

Symbolic Enactment Planning

  • Develop timing and plan for enactment
  • Build contacts with organizations to help plan and support activities along the route
  • Recruit participation from Haudenosaunee people and allies to participate
  • Oversee logistics for this aspect of the campaign

Onondaga / Haudenosaunee Connections

  • Provide the primary link to the Onondaga Council of Chiefs for communication
  • Work with the Haudenosaunee Peace and Trade Committee to seek participation from other Haudenosaunee Nations
  • Work to ensure that we say in our vessels
